James Konakowitz (May 2013) Writes:

“Thank you Lincoln, Carla, Aida and the whole Dolphin Family. Thanks for believing in me to make it. I know I am one of your most difficult students, and if I can make it… others can make it also. You are a great truck driving school. Thank you so much, you are wonderful people. God Bless You All!”

J.C. Farfan (Nov 2014) Writes:

I just obtained my California class A driver license from Dolphin Trucking School, and took me less than a month.

I opted in for an intensive short course because I needed to obtain my license within a short period of time. It was intensive, a lot of driving skills practice, on the road practice, and theory, which included learning the pre trip inspection, in cab inspection, and air brakes inspection. Lot of work, but it was all worth it at the end.

Why did I choose this school? Price, hours, support, and honesty. Meaning, they told me that they were going to help me, but that there were certain responsibilities that I had to meet, such as, being on time, not miss any classes, put effort, study, and so on. The price was very good compared to other places. When I was feeling down because I was not able to do a skill, the instructors eased on me and thought me a different way of mastering the skill.

Before I chose this school, I did my homework. I am the kind of person that likes to do research before I invest my money or time, so before I decided what driving school to attend, I went on different web sites trying to find out what other people- current students and former students, were saying about their experiences with their trucking schools. I found a lot of great information, which allowed me to eliminate some schools right away and mark others as possible choices. Then, I check the Better Business Bureau website to find out if there were any formal complaints to my selected trucking schools. I paid a visit to different trucking schools, where I asked to see their yard (the physical place where students practice their driving skills), see the trucks that one will be using for practicing, meet the instructors, and to chat with some students. Mind you that some companies I visited were not very trilled to comply with the above requests; all they just wanted was for me to sign up right away.

After all my research, I found Dolphin Trucking School, I went to their main office and spoke to general manager. She answered all my questions, agreed to my concerns noted above, and  allowed me to meet with her husband at the yard where I was able to see the equipment (trucks), talked to the instructors, and most importantly, to speak with current students. I knew I was at the right school, so I signed up, and in less than a month I obtained my class “A” license (Remember that I took the intensive course, and I was attending school every day).

I gave  110%, I listen to my instructors, I practiced, I had a positive attitude, I was punctual, and studied all the materials given to me to pass the DMV test. If you do your part, you will do well.

Thank you to all my instructors and Dolphin Trucking School for helping me all the way.
